With the conclusion of the Australian Open, let's take a look at all the winners.
Men's Singles: Rafael Nadal.

With nine-time champ Novak Djokovic not at the Open this year, someone needed to take his crown, and that was Rafa Nadal, who beat Daniil Medvedev in what will go down in a classic. Medvedev took a 2-0 lead in the first two sets, but the Spaniard pulled back, took control and won the match 3-2 in absolute thrilling fashion. This was Nadal's second Australian Open ever, and his first in thirteen years.
Women's Singles: Ash Barty

After winning the French Open in 2019 and Wimbledon in 2021, Ash Barty's next step was to go out and win the Australian Open in front of her home fans. And that's what she did. After beating three Americans in a row to get to the final, she beat a fourth in the final. After winning the first set but going down in the second 5-1 to Danielle Collins, she came back and won 7-6 to take home her first Australian Open and her third major Grand Slam.
Men's Doubles: Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis

Following Barty's win, the Aussie fans were treated to an all-Australian doubles match between Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis against Matthew Edben and Max Purcell. Kyrgios and Kokkinakis were the winners, in a two set victory. After a brilliant first set with a 7-5 victory, Kyrgios and Kokkinakis then went onto win the second and final set 6-4, to win "the Special Ks" their first Grand Slam ever, in either singles or doubles.
Women's Doubles: Barbora Krejcikova and
Katerina Siniakova

The two Czechia girls who have been dominating modern doubles tennis for the last five years have won another one, taking their first Australian Open and their fourth together. After losing the first set to Anna Danilina and Beatriz Haddad Maia, Krejcikova and Siniakova came back to prevail and win the next two sets 6-4, 6-4 in a legendary moment for Czech tennis.
Mixed Doubles: Kristina Mladenovic and Ivan Dodig

After two Australian wins on home court, the Aussie fans were hoping to see a third win from Jaimee Fourlis and Jason Kubler. But it wasn't to be. France's Kristina Mladenovic and Croatia's Ivan Dodig took home the trophy with a 6-3, 6-4 victory. The victory confirmed Mladenovic's fourth Australian Open's doubles win and Dodig's second.
