With the conclusion of the 2022 winter transfers window, let's take a look at ten signings that you can get excited about.

Dele Alli to Everton

After a rough few years at Tottenham, Dele will be hoping to revive his career as a Toffee. His deadline day move - which was a free but could end up costing up to $40 million - gives a relegation threatened Everton a boost in their attack. Dele will need to make a huge impact to help Everton return to their best, but if he can, then Gareth Southgate may consider him a part of England's 2022 World Cup squad.

Donny van de Beek to Everton

It seems like years ago since Donny van de Beek was controlling the midfield alongside Frenkie de Jong for an Ajax team that made the semi-finals of the Champions League in 2019. But it's only been three years, and somehow van de Beek hasn't progressed from that. After signing for Man United in 2020, the Dutchman only got 27 appearances over eighteen months with United. Unable to make an impact at Old Trafford, the Dutchman has now joined Everton on a short term loan, where he will be hoping to return to the form we all saw at Ajax.

Luis Diaz to Liverpool

The already frightening attack of Mo Salah, Sadio Mane, Diogo Jota and Roberto Firminio has just gotten even stronger. After coming up against FC Porto's Luis Diaz twice in the Champions League group stage this season, Jurgen Klopp made the decision to bring him to Anfield. The Colombian winger tore up the Primeria Liga this season, with fourteen goals and four assists, as well as two more goals in the UCL. Liverpool fans have every reason to be excited about Diaz.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Barcelona

After a messy exit with Arsenal, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will be hoping to turn a new leaf at FC Barcelona. The pacey Gabonese striker and former Arsenal captain was unpopular at the club due to his unprofessional attitude, which gave Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta no choice but to ship him to Barca on a free. Despite this, Auba has every chance to succeed in Barcelona. With promising players including Ansu Fati, Pedri and Sergi Dest at the club, Aubameyang will be hoping to get this team back to the glory it once had.

Wout Weghorst to Burnley

After selling striker Chris Wood to relegation rivals Newcastle for a measly 25 million pounds, Burnley fans couldn't be blamed for wondering how they were going to score now. Luckily for the Clarets, they found someone even better for half the price. Goal machine Wout Weghorst had been tearing it up for Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga for the past three and a half years, Burnley submitted a successful twelve million pound bid for the Dutch striker. Weghorst had 59 goals in 118 games for Wolfsburg, and will now be tasked with the challenge of helping Burnley stay up in the EPL.

Bruno Guimares to Newcastle

A relegation threatened Newcastle team will love this signing. A Brazillian playmaker from Rio, Guimares played 56 times for Ligue 1 team Lyon in the last two years. Guimares can play in numerous positions on the pitch, whether it be central midfielder or DM, and is a regular Brazil international. After a huge transfer window for Newcastle, they'll be hoping to survive relegation.

Kieran Trippier to Newcastle

The first signing of the Newcastle takeover. After switching Tottenham for sunny Spain in 2019 to play for Atletico Madrid, Trippier has returned to England to play for Newcastle United. The right-back signed for an absolute bargain of 12 million pounds, and will go down as the first ever signing of Newcastle's $320 million takeover by Saudi company PCP Capital Partners.

Phillipe Coutinho to Aston Villa

This wasn't exactly the career path Phil Coutinho wanted to take. After joining Barcelona from Liverpool at the start of 2018 for 142 million pounds, Coutinho now finds himself at Aston Villa, who were fifth in the EFL Championship when Coutinho moved to Barcelona. But this is a different Aston Villa side. With young promising stars in the side including Aaron Ramsey and Ollie Watkins, and Lionel Messi's international teammate in goal, Villa are now an ambitious side who are currently eleventh in the Premier League, well above the relegation zone. Plus, they've got Coutinho's former teammate Steven Gerrard in the manager dugout. With Coutinho only on a six month loan, he'll be hoping to get back to his best in the league where he originally blossomed.

Lucas Digne to Aston Villa

Lucas Digne was well liked at Everton. After joining the Toffees in 2018, he made 113 appearances and chipped in with four goals from left back. But he wasn't fancied by former manager Rafa Benitez, and forced a move to Aston Villa because of it. An upgrade over Matt Targett in the fullback spot, Digne's attacking play up the field is a huge acquisition for Villa, who can now move forward after a brilliant transfer window.

Christian Eriksen to Brentford

What a brilliant story. After suffering a cardiac arrest in the Euros for Denmark, getting released by his former team Inter Milan, and sitting out of football for half a year, Eriksen is finally back in the game. The 29 year old signed a short term contract on deadline day for Brentford, with the offer of an additional season if Brentford want it. One of the best playmakers in the world on his day, Eriksen will help the Bees cope with their thin squad depth and could turn Brentford into one of the best attacking forces in the Premier League, alongside English striker Ivan Toney.
